French Culinary Institute

The French Culinary Institute prepares students for exhilarating careers in the culinary arts using their Total ImmersionSM training system that emphasizes technique training in small, intense hands-on classes. Students can be on their way to a new career in just six months (or nine, if one trains at night), and gain lots of real-world practice cooking at the French Culinary Institute's on-site restaurant, L'Ecole. In addition to career programs, the French Culinary Institute offers amateur cooking classes and continuing education courses in food writing, wine, and restauranteuring.

Location: The French Culinary Institute is located in Manhattan at 462 Broadway.

Admissions: Applicants must be high school graduates or have a GED.

Financial Aid: Federal loans and grants, as well as many scholarships, are available to students who qualify.

Career Services: The Career Services Department offers an array of job searching assistance services to students and alumni, including personal advisement and job postings.
